Corum Casino Bubble - Full Set
You Feelin' Lucky?
There are very few watches that ever makes us so filled with glee whenever we see it and, yes, this is one such watch.
The only other watchmaker that plays into the Vegas casino trope is Jacob & Co. and their beautiful Casino Tourbillon. Although we love the Casino Tourbillon, we just can't help but feel that the Corum Bubble was born to have a Casino theme.
The dial is incredibly crisp and full of detail which can be easily seen thanks to the sky high single domed crystal, which is where its namesake comes from. One of my favorite details of this watch is the fact that the numbers of the roulette can be seen magnified when the watch is seen from its profile. A crazy piece for sure but you really can't help but admire it!
Corum, founded by René Bannwart, is a relatively young Swiss watch brand, established in 1955 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. René Bannwart had previously worked at prestigious watch companies like Patek Philippe and Omega, where he gained significant experience and expertise in the industry.
In 1956, Corum released its first watches and quickly gained recognition for its originality and creativity. The brand introduced a series of innovative ideas that set it on a path to success. One notable watch from the early years was the "Chinese Hat" watch for ladies, named for its distinctive bezel shape.

Throughout its history, Corum has embraced a fusion of innovation and tradition, making its mark in the watch industry. The brand's commitment to craftsmanship and design has allowed it to create unique timepieces that stand out in the market.
Corum is particularly known for its Admiral's Cup collection, which was first introduced in 1960 and has become an iconic part of the brand's identity. The Admiral's Cup features a twelve-sided bezel adorned with nautical pennants that correspond to an international maritime code, serving as hour markers.
Over the years, Corum has continued to innovate and release new collections, showcasing its technical expertise and artistic craftsmanship. The brand has garnered a reputation for creating timepieces that push boundaries in terms of design, material usage, and complications.
In the year 2000, Corum released the Bubble which are highly sought after watches for a niche part of the watch community. Known for its loud and large size and oversized magnifying sapphire crystal. The Watch quickly gained favor and notoriety in the watch world.

The watch case and strap is in flawless condition with no visible scratches. The buckle does have a scratch on the satin finished portion and a scratch on the center polished portion. Both of which, can be polished by our professional watchmaker.
The watch has also been cleaned, lubricated, and regulated to fit COSC certifications.
Although this may look like a full set, I would be lying if I said it was. The watch did include a set of Corum signed poker chips but it is not seen here. According to the original owner, he lost them since he always used them for friendly games. To our knowledge and research, there has never been a sale on the secondary market where these chips were included. All prices reflect this fact.
